  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • vanilla extract
  • 3/4 c flour
  • 3/4 c whole fat milk
  • salt
  • cherries
  • butter, as needed

Step 1

Choose the ripest cherries, wash them and remove the pits. grease a tat pan and sprinkle the bottom with sugar. In a separate bowl mix together the sugar and the eggs. Once the sugar and eggs are mixed together thoroughly, gradually add the flour and the previously warmed milk (warm, not boiling). Carefully pour the batter over the cherries. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
