Ingredients
- 1 c corn meal
- 3/4 c all purpose flour
- 1 tbsp. Sugar
- 11/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 large eggs
- 11/2 c buttermilk

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 435
In large mixing bowl mix flour, sugar, baking soda & salt
In a separate bowl mix eggs, buttermilk & butter
Pour buttermilk mixture into cornmeal mixture & fold together until there are no dry spots
Batter will still be lumpy
Bake until golden brown about 20 to 25 minutes
Remove & let cool for 10 minutes
