Copycat Olive Garden Salad Dressing

This is pretty close to the restaurant's dressing! I like this recipe because you can choose your oil for the base and egg-less mayo can be used as well. I usually pick a couple oils and combine them.

Ingredients

• 1 Packet of Italian dressing mix (Good Seasonings is a good brand)
• 3/4 cup oil (I usually combine canola and olive)
• 1/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp white vinegar
• 1/4 cup water
• 1/2 tsp sugar
• 1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp pepper
• 1/4 tsp garlic powder
• 1/2 Tbsp mayonnaise (not miracle whip)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a bowl or 2-cup measuring cup (to pour easily into another container later for storing), and whisk together so no clumps remain (I sometimes prefer to mix the mayo with the packet first then mix again after gradually adding some of the liquid ingredients).
