Ingredients
- Herb Rub:
- 2 lbs boneless sirloin steak
- 1 1/2 tsp fennel seed, crushed
- 2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/2 /tsp ground red pepper
- Fettuccini:
- 1 lb fettuccine, cook as per pkg instructions
- 2 Tbls butter
- 1/4 C minced garlic ( about 6 cloves)
- 1/2 C Parmesan cheese, grated (or Asiago)
- 1/2 red onion, finely chopped

Preparation
Step 1
Combine fennel seed, oregano, paprika, salt, pepper and red pepper in a small bowl, mix well.
Sprinkle seasoning on both sides of meat and rub into the surface.
Place steak on grill over medium-high heat. Grill 22-26 minutes for medium rare to medium degree of doneness turning once.
Transfer the steak to a cutting board and allow to stand 3-5 minutes.
Slice the meat across the grain into thin strips.following package instructions, drain well.
Melt butter in a skillet, add garlic and red onion, cook until tender.
Put pasta in a large low sided bowl, pour butter mixture over the top, mix well.
Sprinkle cheese over the top, toss once more, then top with steak strips.
