  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 8 ounce mozzarella cheese cubed
  • fresh parsley
  • 1 round hard sour dough bread

Step 1

Pre heat oven to 350, Line a baking sheet with foil. I chopped the garlic cloves and some fresh parsley together in food processor. In a sauce pan add oil, butter, and garlic/ parsley mixture. Bring to a sizzle, cook about 1 minute, take off heat and add italian seasoning, set aside. Cut the bread once in one direction, then again in the opposite direction, not cutting whole way through. Using a pastry brush brush the garlic mixture into the cut surfaces going in all directions, then push pieces of cheese into all the cut areas shoving them down into the bread. Cover and bake for 15 minutes, uncover and bake at least 15 more minutes or until starting to get crispy on tops..
