Step 1

Cut top third of watermelon off top, trip bottom just enough to make it a flat surface and stand up. Scoop out flesh, working in batches, puree in food processor. Strain through a fine sieve, discard solids. Will be about 9 c juice. Cover rind with plastic warp and refrigerate juice and rind until chilled, about 1 hour. When ready to serve pour juice in rind and add whatever liquor.
