Ingredients

  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 2/3 c sugar
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon Jello
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c unpeeled apples, diced
  • 1/2-1 cup pecans or walnuts
  • 1 c celery, diced
  • 2 c whipped topping

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a saucepan, combine pineapple and sugar. Bring to a boil and boil 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
2. Add Jello; stir until dissolved.
3. Add cream cheese; stir until mixture is thoroughly combined.
4. Cool and fold in apples, nuts, celery and whipped topping.
5. Pour into a 9" square dish. Cover and chill until firm.
