Ingredients
- 5 cups strawberry, capped and cut into pieces
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 9-inch pie crust

Preparation
Step 1
Mash up strawberries to make 1 cup of mash. In a pot on top of the stove combine the mashed strawberries, sugar, water and cornstarch. Mix well with a wire whisk. Bring to a boil stirring constantly and cook until thick. Pour the rest of strawberries in sauce. Pour in crust and chill. Cool for 3 hours.
