Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooking oil
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 well-beaten eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 cups chopped fresh apples
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine cooking oil and sugar. Add well-beaten eggs. Measure and sift together dry ingredientgs. Add dry ingredients to first mixture. Add vanilla and chopped apples. Stir in nuts (if desired). Bake in 13x9 pan for 55 minutes at 300 degrees F.
