Preparation

Step 1

The Night Before:
In a gallon-size zip-lock bag, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Place the pork tenderloin in the bag, making sure to submerge in the marinade. Place in the refrigerator for several hours, or preferably overnight, flipping occasionally to distribute marinade.

After marinating, remove pork and pat dry. Set marinade aside. In a shallow container, mix honey and brown sugar and roll tenderloin to coat. Place in a baking dish (glass, Pyrex, or stone works well).

Sprinkle liberally with sesame seeds. Bake at 400° F until meat thermometer registers 160° F. (approx.
30 minutes). While meat is baking, pour marinade in a small sauce pan and bring to a boil for AT LEAST 5-10 minutes for safety, (Watch so as not to boil dry. Add water and additional soy sauce and sesame oil if necessary.) When meat is ready, transfer to warmed serving platter and slice thin. Drizzle
with hot marinade, or serve marinade on the side.

Wonderful served with Basmati rice.
