  • 1 c. cornmeal
  • 1/2 t. soda
  • 3/4 t. salt
  • 2 T. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 small can cream style corn
  • 1/4 c. bacon fat
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 can green chilies
  • 1 small jar pimento
  • 1/2 lb. cheddar cheese, optional

Step 1

Mix well and pour into greased hot pans or iron skillet. Sprinkle with a little corn meal. Bake at 450 degrees until begins to brown.
