Caramel Apple Cheese Cake

Ingredients
- 1 (21 Ounce) Can apple pie filing
- 1 (9-inch0 graham cracker crust
- 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, at room temperatur
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup caramel topping
- 12 pecan halves, plus 2 tablespoons chopped pecans

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Reserve 3/4 cup of the apple pie filing; set aside.
3. Spoon the remaining filling into crust.
4. Beat together the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Next add the eggs and mix well.
5. Pour the mixture over the pie filling in the graham cracker crust.
6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until center of the cake sets. Cool to room temperature.
7. Mix the reserved pie filling and caramel topping in a small sauce pan and heat for about 1 minute or until spreadable. Spoon the apple-caramel mixture over the top of the cheese cake and spead evenly.
8. Decoreate the edge of the pie with the pecan halves and sprinkle the rest with the chopped pecans.
9. Refigerate cake until ready to serve.
