Blackened Tilapia

  • 2 Tbs. paprika
  • 2 tsp. onion powder
  • pinch garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. dry thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 lb. tilapia



Step 1

Mix spices. Coat fish. Allow to sit at room temperature for 15-30 min.
Heat heavy skillet over high heat. Add oil and heat until almost smoking.
Place fish in pan and cook for about 3 min. per side.
