Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 TBSP butter
  • 2 TBSP all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 10 oz block of extra sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/4 tsp ground red pepper
  • 1/2 of 16 oz package of macaroni

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 400. Microwave milk on high for 1 1/2 minutes. Melt butter over medium low heat. Mix in flour until smooth. Cook whisking constantly for 1 minute.

2. gradually whisk in warm milk until smooth. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly until thickens.

3. Mix in salt, pepper, red pepper and cheese until smooth. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes until bubbly.
