CRABMEAT CANAPES

These are just so yummy and easy to make, I serve them quite often when we are having guests. I found this recipe about 20 years ago in a magazine and I have adjusted it and made it my own.

Ingredients
- 9 Slices white bread, crusts trimmed, cut diagonally into triangles
- 1 Can (7 1/2 oz.) crab meat OR 1 pkg. imitation crabmeat (I usually use the imitation)
- 1 Cup mayonnaise
- 1 Cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 Tbs. lemon juice
- 1 Tsp. grated or finely chopped onion (or one green onion chopped)
- 1/2 Tsp. salt

Preparation
Step 1
Flake crab meat and mix with mayonnaise, cheddar, lemon juice, onion and salt. Spread on bread triangles and broil until delicately browned and bubbly.
