Preparation

Step 1

Peel, core and slice apples. Place in an airtight container, I used a huge mason jar and a Rubbermaid lock-n-lid, add the bottle of Cinnamon Whiskey, and lemon juice. Allow the apples and whiskey to sit for 5 to 6 hours in the containers in the fridge.

***5 to 6 hours later***
Drain the fireball whiskey and save to drink later.

Spray a 9 X 13 pan with Pam and place the apples in the cake pan.

Mix together:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar,packed
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 cup oatmeal
1/2 lb. cool butter, diced

Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until topping has browned slightly and the apples are bubbling!!
