  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 heaping tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 pkg dates (chopped)


Cooking time 35mins


Step 1

Boil sugar, milk and butter until mixture forms soft ball when dropped in cold water. Add dates finely chopped and boil until hard ball forms in cold water. Remove from stove. Beat while adding nuts until mixture cools and can be kneaded. Drop batter on powdered sugar and roll into a long log. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Cut into pieces.
