Ingredients

  • 2 ounces chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • 1 pound salted butter, room temperature
  • 4 ounces clover honey
  • 1 Tbsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • Freshly popped popcorn

Preparation

Step 1

1. Puree peppers in adobo sauce until smooth

2. Whip all ingredients together with a food processor, upright mixer or hand mixer until thoroughly incorporated. This is now compound butter that can be refrigerated until ready for use.

3. To make the popcorn, melp the amount of butter you desire. Toss over popcorn (air popped preferably) and add juice of a freshly squeezed lime wedge. Serve immediately.
