Lemon-Lime Layered Dessert

Ingredients
- HINTS:
- 2 c lime sherbet
- 1 8oz pkg cream cheese, softened
- 1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 c lemon juice
- 1 8oz container of thawed Cool Whip whipped topping
- May substitute raspberry or orange or mixed berry sherbet. Have fun experimenting!
- You can substitute Neufectal cheese, fat-free sweetened condensed milk and Cool Whip Light for a lighter dessert without sacrificing any flavor.

Preparation
Step 1
Line a 9X5 loaf pan with foil. Spoon 2 cups of softened sherbet into pan and freeze for 10 minutes.
Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in 1 can sweetened, condensed milk and lemon juice. Stir in Cool Whip. Spread mixture over sherbet.
Freeze 3 hours or overnight.
Unmold onto serving dish. Cut into slices.
HINT: To soften sherbet, microwave on medium 10 to 15 seconds.
