Steak and Onion Sandwhiches

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, sliced into 1/2 inch thick rings
  • salt &pepper
  • 2 minute steaks (3 ounces each)
  • 1 Tablespoon worchester \sauce
  • toasted country bread
  • swiss cheese

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat 2 Tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over med-high heat. Cook the onions until browned, tossing occassionally, 10 to 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove.

2. Heat the remaining Tablespoon olive oil in the same skillet over high heat. Season the steaks with s&p. Cook for 30 seconds on each side; remove. Add the worchestersauce and 2 tablespoons water to the skillet scraping up the browned bits with a wooden spoon. Return the onions to the skillet. Toss.

3. Toast bread with cheese. Sandwhich the steak and onions between toasted country bread.
