Ingredients

  • 1 ea Turkey Breast (5-6 pounds)
  • 1 ea Lemon
  • 1 can Turkey Gravy (14.75 oz)
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 Tbs Dijon Mustard
  • ½ tsp Dried Oregano Leaves
  • ½ tsp Dried Basil Leaves
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Ground Black Pepper

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325°. rinse turkey with cold water; pat dry. Trim excess fat, if necessary. place breast-side up in a deep baker.

Juice lemon and mix with remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Pour over the turkey coating breast well.

Bake 30 minutes, baste turkey with pan juices. Continue baking 2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours basting every 30 minutes until meat registers 170° in thickest part of the breast and juices run clear. Remove baker to cooling rack and let stand 10 minutes before carving.

For gravy strain pan juices; skim off fat. Carve turkey and serve with gravy.
