  • 2 each Baked round white cakes
  • 2 cups Boiling Water
  • 2 pkg Black Cherry Jello (4oz)
  • 1 tub Vanilla Frosting or Cool Whip

Step 1

Cook cake mix as directed in 2 9 inch rounds. cool for at least 45 minutes and then poke holes in the cake using large fork.

Stir boiling water and jello together until completely dissolved. Pour evenly over cake and refrigerate for 3 hours.

Dip the cake pans in warm water for about 10 seconds and dump onto plat. Frost top and side of one cake, then unmold second layer and carefully place on first layer. Frost remaining cake and then refrigerate at least one hour before serving.
