Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean, ground turkey
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 28 oz. can diced tomatoes
- 1 14 oz. can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 4 tbsp. chili powder
- 2 tbsp. cumin
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste

Step 1
Spray a large pot with cooking spray, turn heat to medium-high and add diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until onion is translucent. Add turkey and cook until no longer pink. Add tomatoes, kidney beans, chili powder and cumin. Bring to a boil and then simmer for one to three hours, stirring occasionally (the longer it cooks, the better it tastes).
If you like spicier chili, add more chili powder, red pepper or tabasco sauce.
