chicken breasts, split, boned, skinned and pounded

slices cooked ham, 4"x4"
pound fresh mushrooms, washed and sliced
medium onion, sliced
On each half chicken breast place a piece of cheese and a piece of ham, and secure with toothpicks. In a large skillet, melt butter and brown the chicken; remove chicken from the pan. Cook mushrooms and onion until tender; blend in the flour, gradually add the milk and brandy, stirring constantly, until thickened. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer covered, stirring occasionly, 20 minutes or until tender. 6 servings
