Strawberry short cake

Ingredients

• box yellow cake mix
• Eggs
• Butter
• Strawberries
• Heavy cream
• Unflavored gelatin
• Vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Make cake mix according to box adding 1 extra egg- separate eggs whip whites stiff with cream of tartar. Supstitute melted butter for oil. Fold egg whites carefully into mix cut up strawberries and fold into mix. Pour mix into parchment lined spring pan. Whip heavy cream with moistened gelatin till stiff. Bake cake according to box. When cooled cut cake in half horizontally, spread whipped cream place layer sliced strawberries place top cake layer, frost and decorate
