Ingredients

  • 6

    ounces semisweet chocolate

  • 3

    ounces bittersweet chocolate

  • 4

    tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 1

    (14-oz. can) pumpkin puree

  • 1

    (12-oz. can) evaporated milk

  • 3/4

    cup brown sugar

  • 3

    large eggs

  • 1

    tablespoon corn starch

  • 1

    teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 3/4

    teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 3/4

    teaspoon ground ginger

  • 1/4

    teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • Pinch of salt

  • Pie Crust - Prepared

Directions

Start by slowly melting the chocolate and butter in a double boiler or just over some hot water. Add that melted chocolate to a bowl with all the other filling ingredients and whisk. Pour filling into prepared pie crust. (Can freeze half if only making 1 pie). Bake the pie at 325 degree F. for a full hour until it’s lightly puffed and set in the middle.
