Ingredients
- 4 sweet potatoes (8-10 oz each)
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 tablespoon margarine, melted
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Preparation
Step 1
1. Scrub sweet potatoes and pierce with fork on all sides. Combine oil, margarine, honey, water, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
2. Coat each potato with mixture. Place in 4-quart or larger slow cooker. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
3. Cover. Cook on low 4 to 6 hours, or until tender when pierced with fork.
