Ingredients

  • 8 to 9 oz fettuccine noodles
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmigiano-Reggianl
  • (Parmesan) cheese
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Cook fettuccine in a pot of boiling salted water until al dente.

Drain fettuccine in a large strainer and set aside.

Put pasta pot back on stove and heat to a simmer heavy cream, butter, salt and pepper. When mixture is hot add back the pasta from the strainer and add parmesan cheese. Mix thoughly -serve.
