Ingredients
- 1 large can pumpkin
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup walnuts (coarsely chopped)
- we use macadamia nuts
- 2 cups melted butter,cooled

Preparation
Step 1
Line a 13 x 9 pan with wax paper.
Mix pumpkin, eggs, sugar, evaporated milk, and cinnamon in large bowl. Set aside. Pour pumpkin mixture into wax paper lined pan.
Sprinkle cake mix over entire pumpkin mixture in pan, sprinkle with nuts, and then drizzle with cool melted butter.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Remove from oven and let cool 10 to 15 minutes.
Turn pumpkin mixture upside down onto platter or covered cardboard. Remove wax paper, cool mixture in refrigerator for several hours. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
