Ingredients
- 2 apples
- 1 c buttermilk
- 2 tbs sugar
- 1 1/2 c flour
- pinch cinnamon
- pinch salt
- vegetable oil

Preparation
Step 1
Peel and core apples; slice into 1/4-inch-thick rings. Toss with buttermilk and sugar. Whisk flour with cinnamon and salt. Dredge the apples in the flour, return to the buttermilk, then dredge in the flour again. Deep-fry in 350 F vegetable oil until crisp; drain on paper towels and sprinkle with sugar.
