Ingredients
- 1 med head cauliflower
- 4 c water
- 2 c milk
- 1/2 c flour
- 1/4 c butter
- 2 T onion, minced
- 1 t salt
- 2 T Cheddar cheeese, grated
- 1 egg yolk
Details
Preparation
Step 1
Cook cauliflower in water; save water when done.
Heat milk.
Put cauliflower through blender, add to hot milk & water.
Melt butter & cook onion in it.
Add flour to butter & add cauliflower, milk & water mixture.
Beat in egg yolk very quickly with wire whisk. Add salt & cheese.
