Korean Beef Ribs

This recipe is best cooked on the grill, but during the winter you can enjoy it cooked on an indoor grill.

Ingredients
- 4 lbs beef short ribs. Look for, or order, "plate-cut" beef short ribs.
- Marinade
- 1/4 C Sake or Sherry
- 1/4 C sesame seed oil
- 2 to 3 TBS toasted sesame seeds
- 4 to 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 C chopped green onion tops
- 1/2 C soy sauce
- 1/2 C sugar
- 1 TBS grated ginger

Preparation
Step 1
Combine all Marinade ingredients in a dish or large heavy plastic bag.
Add the short ribs and allow to stand, covered, in the marinade for at least 8 hours, or overnight.
Remove ribs from marinade and cook on outdoor/indoor grill at medium temperature.
This recipe is best cooked over charcoal at medium heat; however, gas or other mediums may be used for grilling.
