Ingredients

  • breasts of 2 chickens
  • 8 ozs. small uncoooked shelled shripm
  • 2 tsp. soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. dry sherry
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 clove garlic crushed
  • 1-2 Tb_sp. cooking oil
  • &2 cups fresh bbroccoli in small pieces
  • 8 tiny onion or 2 lo=arger quartered
  • 1 cup diagonally sliced celery
  • 1 small green pepper, cut in squares
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • l cup sliced fresh mushrooms
  • a few snow peas
  • 8 cherry tomatoes halved

Preparation

Step 1

Skin and bone chicken ; cut in 3-in,. strips. Marinate chicken and
shrimp for 30 min. in mixture of soy sauce, sherry, ginger and garlic. Heat
oil; add chicken and shrimp. Stir-fry over medium heat for 3 to 4 min.
Remove and set aside
Add broccoli, onions, celery, green pepper, and chicken broth. Cover
and steam until nearly tender, stirring often. Add mushrooms and peas; stir-fry or steam until hot. Salt to taste Serve with rice. Nice to use 2 1/2 cups chicken broth instead of water
