Strawberry Squares

This is delicious made when strawberries are in season in your area. An excellent choice for a potluck or family reunion when its your turn to bring an easy dessert.

Ingredients

• Bottom:
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 cup flour
• 1/4 tsp salt
• Bake in 8" square pan until lightly brown -20 min at 350F
• Middle:
• 1 tub strawberries
• 1 lg pkg strawberry jello powder
• 1/2 cup water
• 1 pkg dream whip

Preparation

Step 1

Bring strawberries and water to boil and add jello powder. Let stand until completely set. Top with dream whip and when cooled, cut into squares.
