Rice-Broccoli Cheese Casserole

  • 1 cup celery
  • 1/2 cup onions
  • Butter
  • 1 cup Rice
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c. half and half or milk
  • small jar of cheese whiz (I use velveeta)
  • Broccoli (fresh or 2 boxes frozen) cooked

Step 1

Saute celery, onions in butter. Cook 1 cup rice according to directions and add to first mixture. Add cream of chicken soup, half and half and velveeta. Mix in broccoli. (cook broccoli only until barely done). Put in large casserole or divide in two pans. Heat in 350 deg oven until bubbly or freeze for future.
