Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. sifted flour
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 2 eggs,well beaten
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 box of dried apricots
  • 1/2 t. baking powder
  • 1 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 t. vanilla
  • Powder sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix butter, sugar and flour together until crumbly. Pack in 9 x 13 pan. Bake 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees.

Rinse apricots, cover with water and boil 10 minutes. Drain, cool and chop. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually beat brown sugar into eggs. Add flour mixture, mixing well. Mix in vanilla, nuts and apricots. Spread over other in pan. Bake 30 minutes or until don. Cool in pan. Cut and roll in powdered sugar.
