Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tbsp Butter
- 1/4 cup Maple Syrup
- 1 pear, sliced
- 13 oz (375 g) block puff pastry (thawed)

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350.
Melt the butter in a 13 cm (6 in) non-stick, oven proof, frying pan over medium heat.
Add the maple syrup, arrange the pear in the base of the pan and cook forn 5 or 6 minutes.
Remove from heat and set aside.
Roll out the pastry on a lightly floured surface to 5mm (1/8 to 1/4 in) thick.
Cut out 7 inch circles to fit inside the pan over the pear.
Bake the tarte for 30 to 35 minutes untilastry is puffed and golden.
Allow to stand for 2 minutes, then invert onto a plate.
