Make Ahead Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 5 lbs potatoes, cubed
  • 2 (3oz.) cream cheese
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tsps onion or garlic salt
  • ground black pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven 325 degrees

Place potatoes in a large pot of lightly salted water. Bring to boil, and cook until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash

In a large bowl, mix mashed potatoes, cream cheese, sour cream, milk, salt and pepper. Transfer to a large buttered casserole dish.

Cover, and bake for 50 minutes in preheated oven

***Can be made the day before. Bring to room temperature before baking for 50 min.***
