BBQ Blackened Shrimp

Ingredients
- Blacken Rub:
- 1 lb fresh shrimp peeled & deveined
- 2 Tbsp Blacken Rub (recipe follows)
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil (I add butter too)
- BBQ sauce
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp plus 2 teaspoons white pepper
- 1 tbsp plus 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 2 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves
- 3 tsp cayenne pepper, or to taste
- Mix dry ingredients together.

Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl mix oil/butter and rub together. Toss with shrimp. Saute shrimp in a medium hot skillet for approx. 3 minutes, depending on size of shrimp (large-2/3 minutes each side). Drizzle with bbq sauce and serve while hot!!
