Banana Bread - Beaumont Banana Bread

Ingredients
- 1 Stick margarine
- 1 1/2 Cup sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 4 Tbsp buttermilk (or a dash of vinegar in milk)
- 1 3/4 Cup flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3 bananas, mashed
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
Details
Preparation
Step 1
Cream softened margarine and sugar.
Add eggs while still beating.
Sift flour and soda together by hand.
Add a little flour then buttermilk, alternating until all is mixed in.
Stir in bananas and nuts
Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees in greased and floured bread pan. (I just use Pam - no flour)
Makes 1 loaf or you can divide into several small loaves
