Ingredients

  • BOTTOM LAYER OR CRUST
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 T sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter , melted
  • MIDDLE LAYER
  • 1 ( 8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 8 oz. Cool Whip Lite
  • TOP LAYER
  • 6 oz. strawberry Jello
  • 1 10 oz. pkg frozen strawberries in syrup
  • 2 c. boiling water

Preparation

Step 1

BOTTOM LAYER

Pour melted butter over pretzels. Bake in a 9 x 13" dish for 8 minutes at 400 degrees and cool.

MIDDLE LAYER

Mix all ingredients and spread over pretzels.

TOP LAYER

Mix Jello with boiling water until completely dissolved. Let cool and then add the frozen strawberries. Pour this mixture over the cheese layer. Chill the entire dessert until jello sets up as desired and is ready to eat.
