Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Cups packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 can (16 0z) pumpkin
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup chopped pecans

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 400.
Mix brown sugar, shourtening, eggs, and pumpkin. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoonsfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until light brown, 12 to 15 imnutes. Immediately remove from cookie sheet.
