Cream Cheese Potatoes

  • 6 potatoes
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons dried minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • paprika



Step 1

Peel and cut potatoes in small pieces. Place in large saucepan filled with 2 inches of water. Bring to a boil on high heat. Lower heat, cover and cook for 20 minutes or until tender when pierced with a fork. Drain and mash. Add cream cheese, 4 tablespoons butter, onion and salt. Mix with mixer just until smooth. Do not overbeat. Spread in 9 x 13 pan. Melt remaining butter. Drizzle over potatoes. Sprinkle with paprika.

Cover and bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Uncover and bake 20 minutes longer.
