Beef Pepper Steak (Slow Cooker)
- 2 lbs sirloin, cut in 2 in strips
- Garlic powder to taste
- 3 T vegetable oil
- 1 c beef bouillon
- 1/4 c hot water
- 1 T cornstarch
- 1/2 c chopped onion
- 2 lg green peppers, roughly chopped
- 14.5 oz stewed tomatoes with liquid
- 3 T soy sauce
- 1 t sugar
- 1 t salt
- Fresh ground pepper to taste
Sprinkle sirloin strips with garlic powder to taste. In lg skillet over med heat, heat oil & brown seasoned beef strips. Transfer to slow cooker.
Mix bouillon with hot water until dissolved, then mix in cornstarch until dissolved. Pour into slow cooker with meat. Stir in onion, green peppers, tomatoes, soy sauce, sugar salt & pepper.
Cook on high for 3-4 hrs or low for 6-8 hrs.
