Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nts, optional
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons butter,melted

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oven to 450.

2. Line 12 medium muffin cups with liners. Mix granulated sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon in small bowl, set aside.

3. Mix remaining ingredients except butter with a fork till moistened. Divide batter among muffin cups.

4. Bake until golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes. Immediately remove from muffin cups. While warm, dip tops into melted butter, then into cinnamon-sugar mixture.
