Ingredients

  • 18.25 oz. package lemon cake mix
  • 3.4 oz. instant lemon pudding
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 4 larg eggs
  • 1 tbsp. poppy seeds
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice ( freshly sqeezed if possible)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine cake mix, pudding, water, oil and eggs in a large bowl, beat at medium speed. Stir in poppy seeds, Pour into 2 8x4 greased loaf pans.

Bake at 325 for 40 minutes.

Combine sugar and lemon juice, and brush over hot loaves. Let cool on a rack.
