Homemade Raspberry Filling
use this filling in stuffed french toast or raspberry bars

Ingredients
- 12 ounce package of frozen raspberries
- 3/4 C water (scant)
- 1 C sugar (may use less to taste)
- 1 T lemon juice
- 3 T cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 C water

Preparation
Step 1
In a saucepan combine the raspberries, water, sugar, and lemon juice.
Bring to boil and simmer for 15 minutes.
Dissolve the cornstarch in 1/4 C of water and wisk it into the raspberry mixture.
Bring the mixture back to a boil and simmer for about 2 min. stirring occasionally until thickened
Remove from heat and cool completely, stirring every once in a while.
