Toffee Cranberry Crisps

Ingredients
- 1 C butter, soft
- 3/4 C sugar
- 3/4 C packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 1/2 C flour
- 1 1/2 C quick-cooking oats
- 1 t baking soda
- 1/4 t salt
- 1 C dried cranberries or cherries
- 1 C semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 C Heath Bits of toffee

Preparation
Step 1
In bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine the flour, oats, baking soda and salt and gradually add to butter mixture. Stir in the cranberries, chips and toffee. Shape in three 12 in. logs and wrap in plastic. Refrigerate for two hours. Unwrap and cut into 1/2 in. slices. Place 2 in. apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool. Yields 5 1/2 dozen cookies.
