Banana Tea Bread

Ingredients
- 1 cup bananas, mashed (2 large)
- 1/2 cup nuts, chopped (optional)
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
- 1 teas soda
- 1/2 teas salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teas vanilla
- 1/2 cup sour cream

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 F
Grease baking pan (3 empty No 2 or 303 size cans or 9x5X3 inch loaf pan)
Mash bananas and chop nuts
Sift flour, soda, salt together
In another bowl cream butter then add sugar, eggs, sour cream and vanilla beating after each item is added.
Fold in bananas then add dry ingredients to mixture stirring just enough wet the flour, but do not over mix then add nuts.
Pour into a greased pan and bake at 350 for 1 hour.
Cool thoroughly before serving
Tips:
Change flavor by using 1/2 teas lemon extract instead of vanilla
Use 1/4 cup buttermilk or 1/2 cup yogurt for sour cream
Add cinnamon to the flour mixture
Spread with Nutella after being baked
Replace nuts with chocolate chips
