  • 12 oz beer
  • 1 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1 lb large peeled deveined shrimp
  • Split crust Italian or French loaf
  • lettuce, tomato, mayo, lemons, and hot sauce

Step 1

In a medium pot, heat canola oil to 350 degrees. In a large bowl mix together beer, cornmeal, salt, pepper, and paprika. Coat shrimp in cornmeal mix, fry in batches until golden, approx 2 min. Serve on bread w/ toppings.
